Ha ha. Glad you shared the makeover! :) Those perms (made for kids) were called "Tonettes". It was a big deal to have the paperdolls inside, but also a big deal when you could graduated from a Tonette to a Toni.
Maybe they were rag curls. Did you ever do those?
My mom would do the rag curls using my brothers old worn out socks. But it looks like I also had a fresh perm here.
