I enjoy embroidering on dish towels. It's fairly inexpensive (if you don't think about the initial expense of an embroidery machine), I find it fun, and I think they make a nice quick gift.

Name That Tune
I was pretty tired after my summer company left and couldn't get up the ambition to get back to my quilting. Instead I decided to put my machine on automatic pilot and play with some of my embroidery designs. All the designs shown here today are from Embroidery Library.

ReplyDeleteWe will all be extremely extra nice to you now, hoping you will want to give us a gift sometime. I smile just looking at them. Can't imagine if you were "touching" as well.
ReplyDeleteAll you have to do is Name That Tune!
ReplyDeleteThey are all gorgeous, Carol! I had to look it up-- looks like that line comes from a Simon & Garfunkel hit called "Scarborough Fair". At least according to Wikipedia. Now I'm wondering how the tune goes. Off to look it up again...
ReplyDeleteYou win Kathryn! One pretty dish towel is coming your way.
ReplyDeleteReally- even though I cheated? thanks! ;)
ReplyDeleteYou are quick! Thanks Carol, that dish towel was my favorite one, too.
ReplyDeleteYou're certainly welcome -- glad it was a favorite!
ReplyDeleteAre you going to Scarborough Fair
